How to use Align Multi-function Tester

Voltmeter Mode

This device comes with a balance connector which accept 2S to 8S balance connectors of the Thunder Power style (also Flightpower and Align).
After plugging in the Lipo pack, the tester shows the reading of both overall and individual remaining capacity, together with the cells voltages. Simply pressing the mode button will enable you to read all figures. Finally you will come to the screen showing the differences between the highest and the lowest voltages of individual cells. Double pressing the mode button, will result in Servo Diagnostic Mode.

Servo Diagnostic Mode

Keeping the battery pack connected, any voltage from 2S-8S is fine, as the tester will convert it to 5V automatically. Then, plug the servo to the port on left hand side next to the tacho sensor. You will then see the pulse width sent to the servo can be altered by the adjustment dial at the bottom of the device. Followed by a single press of the mode button is the auto cycling mode, and the adjustment dial then acts as a speed selection for how fast the servo is cycled.

PPM Testing

A double press of the mode button will enter PPM test mode. Connect a receiver to the tester servo input port and it will display the receiver PPM signal output and the voltage output of the receiver.

Tachometer

Press and hold for 2 seconds, get into tachometer mode which will measure RPM for props of 2 blades to 7 blades. The peak RPM will be attained whereas showing the RPM of blades. The sensor must be held 5-15cm from the blades and avoid indoor florescent light at the AC current which would interfere the reading seriously.
IMPORTANT: Aware to the blades !
