NE Solo Pro MSR Lipo Conversion Mod

As charging the battery of NE Solo Pro can only be done by connecting it to the back of transmitter, and moreover only one at a time. It is annoying to wait over at least half an hour to fly again. Though you can buy a main charger, it is a little bit expensive and unwise.
Since many already own E-flite heli and MSR Lipo cost no more than one-third of NE solo pro Lipo, it’ s not hard to imagine there is mod which make MSR Parkzone battery compatible with Nine Eagles Solo Pro. It save you many bucks if you already got E-flite lipo and charger!


This mod is done by adding a cable(MSR Parkzone Battery Lead), so that you can use the stock lipo(120mah, 10c) and the MSR Lipo(160mah, 30c) on NE Solo Pro. You may consider a cheaper lipo turnigy(160mah, 30c) or nanotech lipo(160mah, 25-40c).
Please note that the size of MSR Lipo is a bit larger than the lipo box, so you have to file down the edges of MSR lipo and ridges of lipo box to get it fit. But do it gently and slowly by frequent checks, otherwise it would be too loose and the lipo would easily pop out in crash.
