RC Helicopter Beginner

RC Helicopter Beginner,

Are you rc helicopter beginner?, as rc helicopter beginner, you must know what rc helicopter model to choose. This article will talk about "RC Helicopter Beginner-Trex 500" - best rc helicopter beginner, why..because trex 500 is good for beginner rc helicopter.

You can use trex 500 rc helicopter as your first rc model. Maybe you will think: If you have an experianced friend that will help you set it up and give you a lot of help learning, maybe. I think this statements is not wrong, then you will think that you would suggest trying to fly it on a good flight simulator(rc helicopter simulator) first, so you have an idea what you are getting into. I think
Be prepared to spend a lot of money on repair parts. If you have no flying experiance at all, a coaxial might be a better choice until you have learned orientation and stick control.

RC Helicopter Crashes - Learn From My Mistakes

Well, what goes up must come down and RC helicopter crashes are as much part of this hobby as flying the silly things. I decided to start this page after one of my favorite birds (the Bell 222 pictured many times throughout this site) met its demise this past weekend, March 06, 2010 to be exact.
I don't crash often because I am a fairly cautious flier and rarely fly beyond my comfort or skill level. I also try to ensure my RC helis are well cared for and always in top notch working order.
When I do crash however, it is usually a really dumb mistake on my part that is the root cause. I have decided to start documenting these RC helicopter crashes of mine explaining what went wrong and why. If it saves just one person from making the same mistake, this page will be worth it.
Hopefully (for my sake), this page doesn't get too long over the years as I add to it.

Remote Control Helicopter

Remote Control Helicopter, We learnt to fly our remote control helicopter the hardway and now offer you tips on how to fly successfully. If you know something that is not on our helpfull list then please add it here at our Remote Control Helicopter Tips, or just check out what help the RC Helicopter community has to offer for all you newbies out there.
  • Always hold your blade grips tightly when you start your helicopter. If the engine starts at a higher rpm than you expect and you don't have a hold of it right away you may not be able to stop it. This can happen if you forget to reconnect the throttle link after maintenance or forget to turn the rx on.
  • If you do start your engine and it is near full power the first thing you want to do is pull the fuel line off the carb, then kill the throttle on the tx. You want to get the RPM's down asap to avoid damaging the clutch liner.
  • If you have a radio with a lot of switches, make it so that when you start your engine all the switches be one direction. For example, when all my switches are flipped back / up and the throttle is all the way down, my helicopter is ready to be started.
  • Always tighten / check the mission critical screws before you fly, especially the ones that control the tail.
  • Be very careful with those damn e-rings, or they may either fly across the room or drop into the heli and disappear for ever.
  • When you have a bearing or something that needs to go into or onto something else, but it won't slide on, consider heating the outside thing and or cooling the inside thing. The cold will make it contract and heat make expand.
  • If you get shakes really bad with training gear on and you're sure your blades are balanced and shafts straight, try chaning the length of the training gear. There are a few things that will affect the resonance frequency of your helicopter: 1)Weight and weight placement 2)Size and lengths 3)RPM 4)Shape. So when in doubt, change one of those variables and see what happens.
  • When you are flying with wind, remember that you'll need more power on the down-wind turn (when the wind becomes with you) because while it may look like you have forward flight, really you are just hovering. Hovering takes a LOT more power than forward flight which benifits from transitional lift, so be prepared for it to sink faster than usual in a turn with no wind.

Syma Micro Size Helicopter Group

Today our topic is some information about the Syma Micro Size Helicopter.
As you can see, begin from the left, they are S111, S109, S108, S107 and the S026.
They all can provide a stable flight for us and have their special features.
If you want to have the collection of them, let’s see how they can share the accessories.

This is the USB cable from the S107G, after the testing from RC FEVER, we find that all the Syma micro size helicopter can share the same USB cable, so that you only need to keep ONE USB cable for all five helicopters.

Above is the transmitter form the S026, it also can use in the S108, but the backward and forward trim button can only use in the S026.

For the S108 transmitter, it also can control the S026, but you can see the left and right top button have no trim so that cannot use this transmitter to enjoy full function of S026.

You may know this transmitter more, since it is the transmitter from S107. This transmitter can do more since it also can control the S109 and S111. If you have bought the S109, you only need to buy the S107 body from RC FEVER, and then you can enjoy one more helicopter. It can save more money.
After this testing, you only need ONE USB cable and TWO transmitters, then you can enjoy those FIVE helicopters. Fantastic right?

Fly Four JXD Helicopters with 4 Transmitters

See! This is the photo that shows 4 JXD RC Helicopters fly at the same time. They are controlled by 4 transmitters. That mean you can find you families and friends to enjoy the flight. Some may say that it is difficult to tune 4 Helicopters with 4 transmitters. Therefore RC Fever will show the full procedures, it’s easy to do!

Firstly, I will use the stickers to hold the position of helicopters.

You can see the left hand sides are two JXD 340s and the right hand sides are two JXD 335s.

Turn on the power of the orange one JXD 340.

Turn on the first JXD 340 transmitter (Band A) and maximize the throttle, the orange one JXD 340 will get the signal. Than minimize the throttle and prepare the blue JXD 340.

Turn on the second JXD 340 transmitter. (Band C)

Turn on the power of the blue one JXD 340.

Maximize the throttle and the blue JXD 340 will sense the signal. Than minimize the throttle and prepare the JXD 335s.
Just repeat the steps of blue JXD 340:
1. Turn on the corresponding transmitter. (Remember to use different band)
2. Turn on the corresponding helicopter.
3. Maximize the throttle until helicopter sense the signal.
4. Minimize the throttle and prepare other helicopters.

Than you can enjoy it with you friends and families, this article just show you how to fly four helicopters
Actually the number can increase. Such as 3 JXD 340s in 3 different bands, and 3 JXD 335s in 3 different bands, than you can have 6 helicopters fly at the same time controlled by 6 transmitter.
Click “HERE” to choose you own JXD Helicopter.

Syma S107G Hold Fly Test Modification

If you have a S107 in your home, you will find that there is a slingshot to keep the accelerator off. However, the main powerful advantage of this S107 is the stability, therefore RC Fever create this blog for you and mods together!

Use the screwdriver to remove six screws, one is inside the cable box and it is hard to remove the cable box cover, just follow the direction the above photo indicated and you will finally remove it.

You can see the transmitter structure as above.

Use the screwdriver to remove the screw that indicated.

I will just leave the slingshot in case I want the auto down accelerator transmitter. Let’s see our the demonstration flight.

Inverted Flight Of Syma S108G Micro RC Hlicopter

Today we will have a tutorial on how to allow you RC helicopter fly up side down, that mean inverted flight. Don’t think it is difficult, I believe all of you can do it. I use S108 for this tutorial since it has a light weight and it can provide a steady flight.

Use the screwdriver to remove four screws that indicated on the above photo.

Then you can have two side of blades, I called them blade set A and blade set B.

Lock back the blade set B on the upper part of the shaft by screwdriver.
Also lock the blade set A on the lower part of the shaft.

Finish! But remember that the control direction are all inverted, this also a chance to practice you hand. Let’s see the demonstration flight presented by RC Fever. Enjoy it.

How To Charge Your S107 Appropriately

If you have a S107 and you want to charge your S107 appropriately and want a longer battery life, this article will help you. There are two methods for charging, the main focus is don’t charge you S107 for too longer, two method allow let you know when the battery is fully charged, then you can unplug your S107 as soon as possible.
Method One: Charge by the transmitter.

1. Connect the helicopter to transmitter. There is wire with plug from the life hand side of the transmitter.

2. Turn on the transmitter and red light bright indicates that the helicopter is charging.

3. After a while (about 40 minutes if the helicopter have used up the battery), green light show that the helicopter is fully charged. Remember don’t charge it for a long time as it will shorter the battery life.
Method Two: Charge through the USB cable.

1. Connect the USB cable to the computer first, red light bright show that the USB is ready for use.

2. Connect the USB cable to the helicopter and the red light disappear show that the helicopter is charging.

3. Red light bright again shows that the helicopter is fully charged. Remember don’t charge it for a long time as it will shorter the battery life.

Tutorial of How to Upgrade the Helicopter’s Battery

Do you think your helicopter can play just a short time? If you want to extend the flight duration, with the same voltage, you can replace the original battery to a more powerfull one. The modification is easy and short, I will take X902A as an example, let’s start it.

Other than the helicopter, all you need to prepare just as above, the main focus is the “Li-Polymer Battery 3.7V 240mAh For Micro RC Helicopters”.

Use the screwdriver to remove screw and you can see the original battery.

Just take it out and then cut it, remain longer wire in the helicopter.

Cut the plastic part and then you can see the metal wire. Do the same for the new battery.
576″ />
Twist the wire to connect the helicopter and new battery.

Have the protection of the wires’ connecting parts.

Place the battery in a suitable position that you can place back the canopy.

Finished! You can see a more powerful X902A with the old battery. You can use this method on others helicopter with 3.7V battery. Buy the new battery form here
